I've read many other posts about mail merging with word and VB 6 but I cannot seem to find a good answer for what I'm doing.
On my form there is an OLE Container and it will always be set to open a blank word 2000 document. I would like my users to be able to mail merge using this. I have a MSSQL Server database that they need to access data from. The fields they use will always be from the same DB and Table.
How can I accomplish this? When I open up a new word document, the mail merge feature is disabled. I would like them to be able to do a normal merge through the Word inside the container, the exact same as they would through opening up Word themselves. The key here is that I want them to do all this inside our application.
How is this accomplished? All help would be much appreciated!
