Hello All,
When doing a mail merge with output to email and with an attachment we have noticed each contact has a copy of the attachment in the history. Is it possible to do the mail merge with an attachment but only have the history created, but not have the attachment included in the history.

The goal is to have a history of the mail merge, but not the attachment included as these mail merges can reach 100+ contacts.

Thank you for your advice.

Regards,
Michael

In ACT! - Tools | Preferences | Email | system Setup
Go to the Record History dialog
Change to: E-mail subject and message (recommended)

Note: if doing more than 100 contacts you really should look at using one of these:
MergeMaster! - SwiftPage -
They are both much faster and much more reliable at large volumes as well as allowing OptOut and reporting back to ACT!. Also, they help prevent issues that might get your IP banned for spam.
