Hi all,

I have just come across a problem recently and am wondering if anyone else has dealt with it before.

I am using the mail merge function (wizard) from word, which in turn uses a query that I created in Access. Everything works fine, except when I do the mail merge in Word it gets rid of the space in the Postal Code field; i.e. V3H 3E1 in the database turns into V3H3E1 after the mail merge. I do have an input mask in my database for the corresponding field in the table and on the form. The input mask does force a space in the database. In fact there has never been a problem remotely like this with the database, it is only after the mail merge has completed in Word that the problem arises.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Aidan

Did you include ;0 at theend of you input mask to be sure to store the space in the data?

Yes I did. Actually, someone from thread68-518451 was able to help me with this problem. Thanks for your response though.
