Hi,

I need to do a mail merge to make web pages from the contact data in my ACT database.

I have been using mail merge to make a text document and then pasting each contact into a web page. This is time consuming as I have thousands of contacts.

Anyone know hoe to do this

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to you all

What do you mean by a web page?

Do you mean you want to make HTML documents?
Why? How do you use them?

Not sure what you're trying to achieve.

Also... which version of ACT!?

Thanks for your reply

I am using ACT6

On my website I have a directory of companies and their contact details.

At the moment I cut and paste from a text file which is generated using mail merge from a template in ACT

I wondered if there is any way to make a HTML template so that I can mail merge and generate web pages

Apart from the obvious Privacy issues, which I assume you're dealing with, there are some questions:

Do you want people to be able to search this list from the web?
How many contacts are you wanting to have on the web?
Is it the entire database, or just a subset?
Is your current web pages publically on the web (ie can you post I link where I can see what you're trying to do)?
