Mail Merge - Not moving to next record

Hi
I need some help.
I am trying to do a mail merge of a place card template. The template is a word document called place_cards. See attachment.

There are 20 records however only record one appears after the merge. The merge isn't moving to the next record in the file. What am I doing wrong?
Any help would be appreicated? Thanks!

After the FIRST set of fields for the FIRST RECORD, you need a {NEXT RECORD} command. Insert it BEFORE the MergeField.

I tried insert the next merge record after the merge field but the 1st record still appears. Is my template the problem? Thanks!

Thanks for the information. I tried it placing the next record in the template and I got the 2nd record for every merged record. The 2nd record just repeated everywhere.


My word template has the text aligned vertically rather than horizontal. Plus the template is a custom. It's not a standard template from Word.Is that causing the problem?
