Mail merge in ACT

Hi,

I'd like to do a mail merge with the body of the letter already in the merge - is this possible?

I currently have to copy and paste the body of the letter into each individual letter, and I don't want to do this

Hello Maisie,
Yes it is possible to have most if not all the text in the body of the letter, all you have to do is create the form letter before you perform the merge.

1. "Write" then "Mail Merge"
2. Select "New" from the "Template" area (v2000/5)
3. Insert the necessary merge fields and add your text
4. Save the document. Are you using ACT! wordprocessor or Word?
