Mail Merge Document - extract field codes

I need to loop thru some mail merge documents and copy the field codes into a text file for each mail merge document that I have.

Is there a way to access and copy the filed codes from access?

I suggest you ask this in forum707

In short you will need to use Word Automation. My expectation is there is some sort of mailmerge object you can use and loop through a fields collection.

Beyond that I do not know the Word object model well enough to help more.
