Mail Merg Wizard Help please

I am calling Word 6.0 for mail merge through Mail Merge Wizard in Foxpro2.6. It works perfectly in 3.1 environment but when I try to call in 95 platform it cannot triggers the Ms-Word by saying that Word is not installed on your machine.<br><br>Your help will be very much apperciated<br><br><br>Farrukh

I Do not think the problem is with FoxPro from what you have stated. I think it is a Invalid path or windows registry problem.&nbsp;&nbsp;Check the calls to MS-Word to make sure the program is not passing a directory name.&nbsp;&nbsp;The default Word location on the 3.1 computer is different then the default location on Win95.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>If a directory name is included, remember FPW2.6 does not fully support a fat32 hard drive table and directory names with spaces in them (I.E. \Program Files\). Make sure long directory names are called with Quotation marks around them. <br>IE<br>case file(&quot;c:\program files\eudora\eudora.exe&quot<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;run /n3 (&quot;c:\program files\eudora\eudora.exe&quot<br><br>If that does not work then I suggest you uninstall MSWord and reinstall it and accept all the defaults for the location.<br><br>If that does not work there may be a problem in the windows registry.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Go get a program like Norton Work 2000 of MacAfee Nut and Bolts.&nbsp;&nbsp;Then in Windows Explorer delete the MSWord directory &quot;Without&quot; running the add/remove new program.&nbsp;&nbsp;Run the registry fixer then reinstall MSWord and try again.<br><br>If that does not work,&nbsp;&nbsp;I hope someone else has a different Idea. <p>David W.
