Hi,
We have an Exchange 5.5 server running on our SBS server which is connected to the internet via a broadband connection and we have a static IP address so mail is sent directly to and from our Exchange box.
We have one particular user that sends messages to a particular distribution list and every time she does this she gets a lot of returned messages saying that there were too many received headers and a suspected mail loop. Many of the recipients receive multiple copies of the email and some don't get it at all - we get a message back to say that either they do not exist or we are not allowed to relay messages to them.
The Exchange server was set up by someone else and I am trying to work out exactly how it works so would appreciate any assistance with this problem and apologise if it is a simple issue that I should know anyway!!!!!
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
