I want to be able to see the communication between my Firewall and the sending SMTP server. I want to see the Helo, sending SMTP servers IP address etc.. etc...

I cannot see this information now, but used to on my old firewall. If port 25 is forwarding, would I now have to look at my Exchange logs for this? My old Firewall had a SMTP server built in so I suspect I was actually looking at that service and not the routing.

Any ideas?

Matt

Well if you are using ver 7.0 of the firebox software you can turn on a setting under the logging tab in the SMTP proxy settings, called log auditing/accounting information, I think this will give you what you are looking for.

Allready had it checked off.

Still is not what I am looking for.

Thanks
