Mail keeps synchronising

Hi there,

I have an XDA II synching on a WinXP machine using ActiveSync 4.2.

For some reason, everytime I cradle my XDA, it completely synchs all mail in my Outlook inbox. It only seemed to start happening when I moved from ActiveSync 3.8 to 4.2 so I'm guessing it's something to do with AS 4.2.

Has anyone else come across this and have a solution, or any ideas at all as to how to stop this?

As my inbox grows, so does the time it takes to synch, which at times when I'm in a rush, can be a pain.

Did you want it to Sync your email at all?

Yes, it's handy to have access to mails on the go, although I have a wireless mail solution, it's limited to me having 300 of the most recent messages in my inbox, which at over 100 mails a day is not much history. Activesync on my PDA is set to sync regardless of timeframe.
