mail ignores alias from .mailrc

I have defined email aliases in .mailrc, but they get ignored on all my Linux boxes. Can anyone help? Thanks

.mailrc file is to personalise Mail program.

If you want to set aliases for many boxes rather use /etc/aliases

If I could have sex each time I reboot my server, I would definitely prefer Windoz over Linux!
