Hello
I would like to forward mails coming for the same username on different virtual domains . The forwarded mails
should contain different To address and different BODY. I know that it can be done by making entry in virtuserTable of Sendmail . But this requires re-compiling Sendmail which is need to be avoided .

Can anyone else suggest a better way (using procmail and formail)

Thanks
KK

Where are these messages being delivered to now?

If it is any linux/unix account, then all you need to do is add a .forward file with one email address per line of the account you wish the mail to forward to.

Hi
The messages are delivered to a UNIX account . Is it possible that in the .forward file , we check the incoming message for the To: field and then depending on the domain specified , forward the mail accordingly .

For eg. If I have a UNIX user say info , and I want all the mails coming to info@abc.com to be forwarded to xyz@anywhere.com and mails coming for info@pqr.com to be forwarded to lmn@somewhereelse.com . Is this possible by specifying in the .forward file ?

Thanks
