Mail Forwarding Problem

I have created an agent to automatically forward my mail to another address using Domino 5.04. Using the simple action : 'forward mail' and 'copy message to folder' in my created agent, I find the agent only copies my message to the folder but not forwards my mail. When I check the agent log, it is as below :

Sent mail for 0 document(s)

Why does it not send my mail but only copy my mail in the same agent? Is there any other option to set such that the agent can forward my mails? Please help.
