I am sure this is really easy to solve: Based in UK, One or two of users on Notes are getting dates formated to US standard ie mm/dd/yyyy. Would like all users to have dd/mm/yyyy as in UK format. Can anyone tell me what to do to put this right.
Thank you

Normally notes gets it date settings from windows so me thinks you might try looking there. And never forget that Microsoft is well known for bugs so you need to check the win.ini settings to make 100% sure they are UK.

Thanks for that Jackdaw. I have already checked the Windows settings. Notes did take the settings from windows in Notes 4 but in R5 I dont think that is so anymore. I seem to remember in training this being mentioned but cannot find any trace of it in of my manuals (as usual!).

check the registry on the server.
HKEY_users/default/control panel/international/idate
set to 1 rather than 0
HKEY_Current_user/default/control panel/international/idate

make sure all the settings in there represent UK rather than US
country code 44
local 000000809

Thank you for this suggestion. Had a look at these settings on the notes server and all are correct. I have managed to rectify the problem on one user's workspace by altering win.ini settings. But I have 4 others remaining. Did alter their win.ini, but not affected problem.
Any other ideas would be appreciated. This does not seem a big problem, but loses users confidence in Notes.
Many thanks
