Mail file cannot be opened

When I try to sync a 7290 with Notes 6.5.4, I get the following message:

The mail file specified by the current location document cannot be opened on the server. Message syncronization cannot continue.

If I uncheck "Reconcile Messages" in Intellistnc, I do not get this error, but I do get my emails on the Blackberry. Any suggestions?
