I have a client who just hired me. Their server is named domain.com, and their new website is named they have webmail through the webhost, mail.domain.com.

They were at first unable to access on their network, which I fixed by adding a in DNS pointing to the ip address of the website. I have been unsuccessful getting their mail.domain.com to work in IE internally. I have tried to add another but that didnt work. When I try to ping mail.domain.com it comes back as "Unknown Host." Any help on what I have to do to DNS to get this to work? Thanks.

mail.domain.com + WebBrowser = OWA?
If Answer is correct, is the server you are attempting to connect to in the DMZ? Is mail.domain.com accessable from the outside? Is the record in DNS pointing to the proper host and IP Address?

Have you added DNS record 'mail' pointing to mailserver IP address?
