I'm developing an app that I intend to distribute. Right now, I'm only supporting the mail functions with ASPmail (and ASPQmail). It appears that the component is available nearly everywhere with most ISP's. Am I limiting my audience by not supporting CDONTS or CDO?

You may be able to add code that checks for either one or the other. So you will cover all bases.
But you have to test it on those servers to get it right.

So you need some Error checking and 3 servers that have one or the other on it.

Ask me how Bar-codes can help you be more productive.

It's not the act of supporting the other components, the question is should I? I could do it, but more code = more potential bugs and support issues. What I'm really looking for is advice about what people are using out there. Can I get away with just using ASPmail?
