I have a question about Domino 6.5
In our company we uses A domino server to send and receive mail. With Notes client, but also with normal outlook express pop users.
The main problem is:
I want that the pop3 users must authenticate to send mail.
So only authenticated persons can send mail.
But when I change the value in the server document (smtp inbound) authentication options (name and password) to YES, also the normal process of mailing goes wrong...
Because when I was testing outside with a gmail adress to mail to my company ... I also get an error to authenticate...
So...
The main question is:
How to set the domino server ... to authenticate only the pop3 users.... and the normal mail still passing through without authentication..? (else no others mailservers could mail me)
