Mail box reciving in batches of 5

Hi All,
I have a user here (the Director) who is intermitantly reciving emails in batches of 5 to 6 at a time. The time stamp is all the same ie recived at 1.39pm on all the emails even thought they were all sent at different times.
I have checked the queues with nothing pending in them am at a loss as to why this is. The emails are not from any one particular person or anything like that.
Any idea's on where else to look and see.
