Do you have to embed the image? If you are sending this email from a website, you can upload the image to a certain directory and then use this in the body of the email to link to it:

I'm downloading mails from an imap server via php. but I can only load the raw "undecoded" mailbody. Displaying regular html mails are no problem (img are absoulte links to other websites). But some mails have the graphics embedded in the mailbody, and the img src are looking like that: "cid:31423...".
