Hi,
I have a exch server 5.5 sp4 with abc.com domain name. I tried to send email to outside with branch.abc.com domain.
Last week it works fine, but this week, when I tried to send to the same person, I got this error instead -
Your message has encountered delivery problems
to the following recipient(s):
user@branch.abc.com
Delivery failed
553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)
No recipients were successfully delivered to.
Even though it is a subdomain of ours, it uses different ip and hosted by different mailserver and mail system. I tried sending email to my yahoo account, and it works. But when I tried to send email to her, it bounced back. The funny thing is, it only happened this week. Last week it was ok. Is it bcos I created a custom recipient with her email address and her other colleagues (same domain name)in the exch? I deleted her email address (but not her colleague) but still same error,...
