Mail arrives couple off days later, any suggestions?

Hi,

We have been having some problems this week and last with messages arriving late. Some of the external mail have been arriving 2 to 3 days later. I received mail from technician at Microsoft.com two days later.

Any suggestions on where to start solving this problem?
