Mail arrives as an attachment.

hi,
i'm having a problem whereby some email arrives in a message as attachment with the following message:

The Microsoft Exchange Server received an Internet message that could not be processed. To view the original message content, open the attached message.

the mail usually contains som html, is it somethng to do with the mail being a mix of plain text and html? any ideas how i can work around this?

we're using 5.5.

My experience with that issue is that the arriving mail is not from an Exchange Server. This many times causes the internet mail to show up as an attachment.
