Hi
I have a problem with an email address that i am not too sure how to fix.

Our Helpdesk email account was created a few weeks ago as itsupportdesk@domain.com this worked well for a time but a problem occured with the mailbox and was recreated. However the person that recreated it named it itsupport@domain.com. In outlook users are still seeing "it support desk" which gets returned as undeliverable ou have tos end to "it support". Is there an easy way to rectify this without having to delete each users NK2 file.

Thanks

You would need to attempt to find the LegacyExchangeDN attribute for the original mailbox then add it as an x500 address to the new one.

I was in a similar situation a while back. Taking that your helpdesk might be an external platform i.e. sharepoint, you can simply add the missing alias address to the itsupport mailbox. You are also not specifying what clients you use. But since you mentioned NK2 I can only assume outlook 2007. Search for nk2 editor in google. There is a pretty nifty and free editor that will resolve this problem.
