What needs to be turned up for maid in room to work?

I think you just program it in the Feature Access Codes form which would be *35. So when the make is in the room she just types in that code but i'm not she how to turn it off maybe just dial the number again when leaving? Also make sure the COS option for the ONS room you want to do has room status applies enabled which is 244.

Actually I just tried it and that didn't work so maybe you have to do something else but you need to have that number programmed.

I think you need the Hospitality Package for those options to work. If you have that package, then Matt85 is correct (mostly). You do need to have a feature access code programmed. The other thing you need to know is how to use the feature access code. In the Folio Documentation, there should be info on that.

The documentation will tell you that you need to add an additional number to the feature access code to make it work. something like 0=maid in roomdirty, 1=maid in room clean, etc... To make it work, the user would lift the handset, dial the feature access code + the additional number. I cannot remember what the additional numbers correlate to, so please look it up.

Good Luck.

You didn't say whether this was an SX2000 or 200, but I'm assuming 200.
Either way Paterson is right, you'll need the Hospitality software option for this to work.
Thereafter it's just a matter of programming feature codes.
P/N 54001134 for the 200ICP
P/N MSA-A-07 for the sx2K

Dial acces code plus 1 for:
Maid is in room
Maid has entered the dirty room and has dialed the room access code and the maid in room code. The Room Condition does not change.
Dial access code plus 2:
No maid in room
Maid has dialed the room access code and the no maid in room code. Maid has decided to leave the dirty room after dialing in the Maid in Room code. Room has not been cleaned. The Room Condition does not change.
Dial access code plus 3:
Room clean, maid not in room
The room is clean. If there is a supervisor, supervisor dials this code to indicate room has been inspected and is ready to be rented out. If there is no supervisor, maid dials this code to indicate that the room is clean and ready to be rented out. Maid or supervisor has dialed the room access code and the room clean code.
Dial access code plus 4:
Room to be inspected, maid not in room Maid has finished cleaning the room.
The room is ready for inspection by a supervisor. Maid has dialed the room access code and the room to be inspected code.

IF this is a 200EL/ML/ICP then the following has to be programmed:
In CDE Form 02, assign an access code to Feature 35 (Maid In Room).
In CDE Form 03, enable COS option 244 (Room Status Applies) for the extension.
If you have a Property Management System controlling the restrictions then the PMS the maid codes go directly to the PMS system.
