Without going to Avaya..where can acquire a copy of the
Magix r4.71 docs...
2nd question...using a CKE3 processor and r4 software...any
known issues besides the 0x16 mlx not working right.
Thanks for the help

Well, when you say "Without going to Avaya", are you asking if you can avoid purchasing these documents from Avaya, or just not visiting their website?

Let's just assume you do not want to purchase from them.

I am rather certain that you can download what you are looking for in their DOWNLOAD Section, for no charge.

The Latest documetation created is for the R3.0, with a supplement for 4.0.

I hope that answers that part of your question.

As far as using a CKE3 processor, the only issue I know about is the "HIGH DENSITY" module issue that you mention.

There is not enough memory or addressing in the CKE3 to accomodate those modules.

Thus, you couldn't use an 024 TDL.

If you are not using TDL's or other HD cards, it might work.

However, I would question the fact that you would even bother to risk any issues considering the cost of CKE4 processors these days.

Of course, the MAGIX can not work with ATL Modules.

I guess I didn't go far enough into the Avaya website...I
would pay for a CD if I had to.
With regard to using a CKE3 with Magix r4.71 software....
So far they work well with systems under 16 stations.
I agree with you merlinman....CKE4's are getting cheaper,
so I'll start using them.
Thank you both for your prompt replies.
