So I have been informed that I will be changing a customer from various types of lines (DID, Ground start, etc..) to a PRI.
This PRI and 1 more will be twice that I've done any programming for a PRI.
Is there any documentation dealing specifically with PRI administration anywhere? I've looked a little on Avaya's support site but hve not had any luck.
Avaya has put their Business Partners in a poor position since they started charging for Tech Support ($200 an hour if you don't buy a block of time from them).
Any help would be greatly appreciated, By the customer
and I.

There is part of the Magix documentation set that deals with Installation and then another part that deals with Maintenance & Troubleshooting. These are good for reference in your case. If you call Avaya and specifically request the full documentation set for Magix you should be fine. Without documentation in front of you I wouldn't try to touch PRI or contact Avaya TSO for assistance.

As long as you grasp the basic PRI concepts (1st-23rd B Channels, 24th D Channel, line coding, line format, switch type, etc.) it shouldn't be too bad. But without the full documentation set for Magix you're off to a pretty rough start.

Try getting docs and then you'll be off and running...

I have documentation which an Avaya technician sent back before they started making Business partners PAY for support. It is step by step PRI setup, and I have used it several times with much success. I can fax it to you if you give me your number. jfilary@hotmail.com, or make a post.
