I have a customer that has 3 consoles DLC's. They recently had 1 which had a night service button on it. Since we added 2 new consoles DLC the night service would not work. Now I have been told that you need a NS on every DLC to work properly. I was told to add the button on the other two and set them to on then delete the button. I have done this and now the main DLC can control day/night greeting. My question is why? And is there any other way? My concern is that a reboot will knock the 2 DLC's set for Night off and the main console will lose control again.

Thanks,

I never heard of this solution. Regardless of how many DLC positions you have, the NS attendant that you specify controls NS for that group. Example, if you have Attendants 100, 104, & 108, and 100 is the NS attendant, then 100 needs a night button. 104 & 108 are irrelavent and function only as operator consoles. There is a possibilty that software glich in the Magix might have something to do with your problem, but it is new to me. What version of Magix? Is night service set to VM

Version 2.2 Magix. Night service is set to VM, I think? That is NS-group-770, correct?
