So first of all I want to say I know very little to nothing about the Merlin Magix system. We have a customer that has 3 sites, 2 of them are Avaya rel. 9 cabinets and this site has a Merlin Magix so were trying to do what we can until they upgrade all their sites. A couple of weeks ago they had a power outage and one of the digital boards came back up but had a few ports that were not working so I moved a few of the phones to a different board. One of the phones I cannot get Vm to answer. I'm not sure what I did that it can't roll to VM after 4 rings. I have gotten into the VM system admin and the VM box seems to be setup but I can't get it to roll to VM after the 4 rings.
Do I have to program a voicemail button on the phone to make this work..?

You have to tell the phone system that there is a voicemail system to send the call to when not answered.

Dial the Coverage Group - usually 30 - and Enter
Dial the Extension Number and Enter

Just so I understand your response, the extension 164 is the only one thats having the issue of the ones I moved. So the commands your suggesting are just to change the one extension I'm having the issue with..?
