Magix Socket cable ??? 1

Whats the part number for the correct avaya magix socket cable to hook up to phone system, and program with? And the software to program is WinSPM??? That correct?

the cable is a 9 to 25 pin serial cable you can buy at any computer store, then you need a patch cable, again you can buy that anywhere. The 355AF adapter to go from 25 pin female to RJ45 is more problematic but can also be found online.
some people make their own 9 pin to RJ45 adapter but I tried once without success and gave up was not worth my time any more.

I use a AF adapter and a mounting cord of a MLX set, works fine..

If you have a static IP address you can get in using a Socket Magix unit, they are a little pricey but for remote locations they are reliable and it's worth the investment..
