Hello
Im trying to set up another operator on a magix with no luck .
the magix has two cabinets and software level magix 3.0 v7.0
with ck5 .Here is a list of the cards in oder .first two slots have a GS/LS ICLID the 3rd slot has a 412 the 4th and 5th slots have 024 THERE IS AN EXPANSION CAB both cabinets are metal
there is only one operator and its set as a regular operator . I know that an operator can only be set on a certain port but i was in the programing section to add an operator and no matter what extension i put in it beeped at me . please help

Your Operator extensions can be the 1st and 5th on the 412 in the 3rd slot, and the 1st, 5th, 13th and 17th on the 024 in the 4th slot, and finally the 1st and 5th on the 024 in the 5th slot, for a total of 8 operators.

To program an operator position, it's Menu> System Program> Start> Operator> Positions> Direct Line> Dial the Extension Number, or you can dial *0305 for slot 3 port 5> Enter> Store All

After the system restarts, you will have your new Operator, which you can verify by pressing Menu> System Program.

Hello thats what i did as far as ports and no matter what port i entered it beeped so thats when i started to enter multiple extensions no matter what extension i did from my system it beeprd i tried at least the first 15 any ideas thanks

You have to specifically PROGRAM one of the available ports TouchToneTommy mentioned to be an Operator position - before it becomes an operator phone.
