system is in Hybrid\PBX mode, site has 4 analog lines in Pool 70;
customer wants calls from (1) ext to use line 4 only.....should I be able to access a SA button, dial 804 and grab line 4? I am getting an error tone.
Should I assign line 4 to another pool (ie 890) and have them dial out using that code?
Thx for your help.

Yup, remove the line from pool 70, assign it to a different pool (890 is fine) then either assign that pool to the phone on a button, or give it pool dial out code access. Also, put the pool in the ARS as the 2nd choice, so others will automatically use it when the other pool is all busy.

TTT,
should I be able to dial specific line number (ie 804) to access that line with this set up? currently. I get an error tone. Thx

No, you can't dial the line number, but once you put the line in its own pool, and assign pool dial out code access to the extension, you can dial the pool code which pulls up the line.
