I am trying to put our loudspeaker page port into the zone page call group 799. I see it in there but do not get the loudspeaker page out when doing a zone page 799. any sugestions?

Loudspeaker page is assigned and works fine by itself. The way I read the documentation, I should be able to add loudspeaker page to 799. Do you agree?

Yes, it should work.

However, once you program it, do a print of GROUP PAGE and it should look something like this for 799:

A GROUP PAGING

A Group # 799 STNS : ALL
A LINES : 804

If it looks like that and still doesn't work, more trouble shooting will be needed.

heres my page zone, so what would I change trunk card, processor?

A Group # 793 STNS : 110 111 112 113 114 115 116 117 118 119 A LINES : 807

A Group # 794 STNS : 7105 180 181 183 184 185 182 187 188 A LINES :

A Group # 795 STNS : 7103 149 142 143 144 145 146 147 148 A LINES :

A Group # 796 STNS : 7104 162 160 163 164 165 167 168 171 172 A LINES :

A Group # 799 STNS : ALL
A LINES : 807

First, I would make sure that the PAGING LINE has not been set to Ground Start (I doubt that it is).

Next do a BOARD RENUMBER.

Then I would swap Hardware around to see if that makes a difference.

My very last choice is ALWAYS the Processor.

Usually, if it is the processor, then something was hosed up in the programming.

It looks like you've got the LS Page port assigned to two groups. I don't see why that programming wouldn't work, but I've never assigned it to anything other than 799. Remove 807 from the 793 group and see if that changes anything.

Two clients in my past had trouble (but not complete failure) with the Intercom Page + Loudspeaker Page blend. Both reported the problem as intermittent and each PBX was outfitted with an unusually large number of Partner phones and 016ETR boards.

Interesting, we've got about 48 Partner sets on this system.

We also have another Magix customer with multiple page ports in multiple zones (and no ETR).

We'll try another page port and board and see what happens.
