Other than loking for symptoms, is there a "definitive" way (no pun intended) to troubleshoot a MAgix Processor to see if it is goofed?

Hi Pepperz,
Have a look in the error log. Look for insanity entries. I just got one that is lunched. It accepts programming and shows the changes, but the system operation does not change. So if it's doing something it "can't" do, even after a reboot, it is likely bad. I had some new Magix cards bad that way as well. I wonder if it's system memory.

I have been able to "revive" a few by updating or reloading the processor software using either a "forced" installation card or regular upgrade card - after yanking the battery (capacitor) jumper to insure a "frigid" start
