Hello
could someone please help im going to cut over a PRI on a magix 2.0 I have of course the T1 card. At the present time the customer just has a regular T1 I will be using that T1 card for the new PRI circuit.I know most of the programing on the phone system that needs to be changed such as TI to PRI but it would be nice to get all the programing steps from someone who really knows the PRI set up .So if you could help i would appreciate THANK YOU

Take a Look at the faq689-3784 on LEGEND/PRI Initial setup.
(Click the FAQ on toolbar above to find it)
It will get you started with some initial settings.

Further, if it's a standard T1 now, don't just change that setting to PRI and assume it's gonna be happy.
Remove all the trunks from the group FIRST, then change it to PRI, then add back the trunks.

If you have a spare card and slot, you can go ahead and do all your PRI programming ahead of time. Also if your provider is the same, find out what their conversion process is. If they build a new DS1 ckt for the PRI, then you can do all your testing with them before cutover. That makes the transition much easier.

After cutover you can deprogram the old T1 configuration and put that module out of service. Or you could depending on card locations, duplicate the existing T1 to a temporary slot to free up the existing slot for the PRI.

Just some suggestions that might help.
