I have a magix 3.o that I am trying to get the New Pri to function correctly. Incoming DID and ported trunks are functioning fine. Local is Fine( State of Maine is 7 digit dialing).. When I attempt to call long distance it keeps stripping the area code. I've verified my outgoing table, but, this happened to me once previous years ago and when I could get tech support, I had to change a setting that seemed odd at the time but, Age and my blondness prevent me from remembering. Any suggestions?????

Try dialing 1 twice and see what happens.

IF that works, then change the DELETE DIGITS in Out Going table 5 to ZERO.

It should look something like this:

Entry Number: 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
Pattern to Match: 011 010 01 00 0 1
Operator: none OP OP OP/P OP none none none
Type of Number: I I I N N N N N
Digits to Delete: 3 3 2 2 1 0 0 0

In the Special Services Table - I usually set all of the delete digits Table entries to 0 - so that nothing is stripped - unless the PRI provider specifically requests that certain types of calls strip a specific number of digits (e.g., TelePacific has sometimes asked that on international calls - the leading "011" be stripped. In that case I leave the Table 0 entry for delete digits at 3 - so that whenever 011 is dialed - the 011 is stripped before the call is dialed).
