Magix - PRI delay before dialing outgoing call

I've run into this on other systems but don't know how to fix it on a Magix. When you dial an outgoing call number there is a delay of about 8 seconds before the system actually dials the call. Pressing # after the dial string makes the system dial immediately. How can I fix this?

you just answered your own question with the #

you need to instruct the caller to use the #, as the the system is waiting to see if you are done dialing , there is no getting around it

Not what I was hoping to hear. Is there a way to shorten the delay?
