Switching from at&t IP Flex PRI to Comcast PRI.
On initial testing with Comcast I have an issue with outbound caller id.
When Comcast traps calls they show the # I dialed + the Magix ext # only.
If the Magix or Comcast controls caller id it doesn't make a difference.
They claim that they still need to see a valid 10 digit # on their end.
I programmed all channels to reflect main btn.
No matter what I change in programming-it doesn't make a difference.
This site only needs 1 DID which=main #.
I read previous posts....regarding every phone needs a valid DID?
At&t IP flex PRI works fine with 1 DID....
Any thoughts?

You need to adjust your calling party number. Number To Send in Merlin speak.

If you only need to send your main number from all calls then you enter in that number for all PRI lines. Meaning each line has to have a separate entry.

Should be plenty of good examples of you search this forum for Number To Send

I programmed number to send for all pri lines & tested with Comcast.
They still only see my internal ext # when making outbound calls?

The "NUMBER TO SEND" setting should do this. It has to be set for ALL LINES and (Considering you want the MAIN NUMBER sent) it must be the same number.
It used to be that the Provider sends the number, but not so much anymore.

Here's a partial sample of one that works:

A Line PhoneNumber NumberToSend
A 817 2446622100
A 818 2446622100
A 819 2446622100
A 820 2446622100
A 821 2446622100
A 822 2446622100
A 823 2446622100

If you print your PRI Report, does it look like the sample above?

Finally found the problem!!!
Needed to program the "NUMBER TO SEND" FOR THE D-CHANNEL LINE #!!!!
Once I did this it worked fine!!!
Comcast is controlling caller id.....
Comcast would match the sent # on the d-channel-(main btn) with a valid # on the account...(main btn)
and then complete the call!!!
Called parties caller id shows main btn for site...
YIP.....YEE....!!!

I have never programmed number to send for the dchannel. I have only added it to each bchannel. Interesting. Do you have more than one T1 or PRI? Are there any overlapping assignment on the channels. Perhaps the dchannel is in line group 70?
