I have a Magix system with 2 operators (201 and 200) programmed as DLC operators. They both have 8 line appearances programmed for immediate ring. Extension 200 rings on incoming calls but 201 does not. I can pick the call up on ext 201 if I press the flashing line button but I need for it to ring. Both consoles seem to have the same programming. Any ideas? I have swithched the consoles and the problem stays with the port. The thing that is really odd is that of the 8 lines 4 are in one pool and 4 are in another. Pool 70 rings but 890 does not.

Sounds like 70 is an inbound pool, and 890 is an outbound pool. Most likely the non ringing DLC has the lines set to "no ring". Set them to ring immediate, *347, nad that should do it.

890 is a T-1 used for long distance and receiving 800 number calls. The group type is ground-start. When I look at the lines they all have the -I after the line indicating immediate ring.

After you do a PRINT of the Ext Info for these, post the EXTENSION INFO for BOTH ATTENDANTS, and perhaps someone on this forum can figure this out....
