I have a Magix which is answered by the AA immediately. If callers press 0 or do nothing then the calls goto the operator phone x2970. Problem is that this phone just rings until caller hangs up or it is answered.
I would like ot know if I can program x2970 to ring to the AA if no answer?
Attached is a printout of the phone x2970.

First, your dial-0/timeout is probably set to "Transfer to Call Answer Service Operator", and the CASO is probably set to the default Ext. 728.

This combination will take callers to the lowest logical ID, the Operator, and ring without coverage kicking in.

Change the Dial-0/timeout to go "Transfer to Extension", and specify Ext. 2970.

Next, put 2970 in the voicemail coverage group, delete it's current mailbox, and recreate it with either a class of service of 15 (Merlin Mail) or assign it to the Auto Attendant (Merlin Messaging)

I changed all of the AA to goto x2970 when 0 is pressed.
When mI try to add 2970 to the voicemail coverage group 30 it just gives me a bing sound (using WIN SPM). Acts as though I cannot add it to the group and the phone still just rings.

See current printout again.

I get a 404 when clicking on your link.

Do a print of 2970

You can just cut and paste
