magix messaging overflow to attendant

been out of programming for awhile-

need 2 have calls overflow to attendant on magix messaging

Setup an overflow group in extensions, group calling. I usually use 791. Leave the group defaults alone, no members. Take the lines out of your voicemail calling group (usually 770) and attach them to the overflow group. Under overflow, enter 791, enter the voicemail calling group (usually 770), enter number-based overflow and backspace out the 0 and put in 99; under time-based, backspace out the number and put in 3 to 4 seconds per ring - I use about 12 to 15 seconds. Create a voicemailbox for the overflow group (791) in voicemail admin and make it an autoattendant mailbox - the old type 15 for AA1. That should take care of it. I assume you alreday have a voicemail 770 group set up and a cover group that it covers for extensions with mailboxes. Also - since you have a Magix - remember to rotary enable the voicemail ports in group 770 (intergated voicsmail group).
