Magix /Merlin Messaging ....STUTTER DIALTONE

We have a Magix rel 1.5 with a Merlin Messaging system
Rel 2.0 (6 ports)that we are using in HOTEL MOTEL MODE ;

All the rooms are single line phones with NO led
lamps ...is there a way to set the mailboxes or
extensions to do stutter dialtone to indicate they have
messages .....looking through the programming and nothing is popping out .....
they are using S/L comdial set types

If a Tip Ring is in voice mail coverage, and there is a voice mailbox for that extension and there is a new message, the stutter tone should already be happening. Try with a plain old K-Mart variety phone, (or butt set) as the T/R extension you may be using may be goofy.

The issue was that the end users picked up the receiver
SLOWLY ...not getteing the first 5 seconds of stutter
tone ....I explained that they only receive it for X
amount of seconds until you place the receiver down
again ....I also stated you must listen to All Messages

We changed out phone systems from "old" Mitel to
Magix ....I had them try different types of 2500
Sets and they all worked fine
