Hello,
A customer has stated that they have in the past seen the caller id come up automatically on the 4424's top line. This is when a call comes into aa, user dials 0 and it rings the 2 4424's that are in a ring grp. Now when a call comes in the top line displays ext400 <no ring. When you push the button to the right of the top line then it displays the incoming calls info. 400 is the call grp that is on the 2 stations. They had a power loss and believe this is when it started to do this.
Any info?? thanks

Dan

Just wondering if the processor in question has capacitors or button cell batteries to preserve programming in the event of a power failure? If it has batteries, they may need to be replaced.

If things went south after the power loss, you could try to restore the configuration from the PCMCIA (assuming that the last known good configuration is on there).

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.
