I have a Magix with a red light on the processor. All phones are dark with message waiting lamp flashing. Customer rebooted and so did I. No display on the processor card besides the red light. I swapped power supplies with no resolution. Not sure what else to do. Cannot connect with winspm.

Basic troubleshooting - unseat all modules except processor, does it come up, can you connect?
If so, start adding one module at a time until it fails

Yeah, good idea. I will have to try that. Thank you!

Pulled all cards, no winspm connection, red light on processor card. No readout on the 2 digit processor display. I am not a magix expert.

The red light doesn't really mean much. It just says you had some sort of error. But the Magix is a dead horse. It is probably a good time to look at replacing it.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*

I suspect a power issue yes. No UPS. Is it possible to get a processor and data dump from the PCMCIA card?

I left him with a loaner magix that I have.

Is there a way to figure out the release from the PCMCIA card. I believe it is a CKE5.

If the programming is known to not be overly complex, might it be best to replace the failed processor with an R4 (the final release) and program from scratch [ponder]

I [love2] "FEATURE 00"

a defective power module will produce the same symptoms.

the current release number is part of the autobackup file name on the pcmcia card.

release four has a couple of nice features added if you go that route.
