Our auto attendent takes about 3 full seconds to transfer a call to an extension, this is a problem as most incoming callers think their is problem and hit 0 or keep calling.

What are your extension numbers, and the maximum extension length set in the voice mail?

If, for instance, you have 2 digit extension numbers, but the voice mail is set for 3 digits maximum, it will need to time out before deciding that the caller is done dialing.

My guess is you have the "default" extension length (# of digits) set incorrectly in voice mail system. If the maximum extension digit length is set to 4 in the VM system, and they are using 3-digit extensions - then the AA will keep waiting for that last digit. So check the maximum extension digit length in voice mail administration and make sure they match the length being used in the Legens system. Otherwise they could press # after entering the extension number. The # will tell the AA they are finished dialing extension digits.
