Was there any release of Magix that would not allow the headset port on the 4424D+ extension to work with the hic cord. I was thinking and I don't know why, that r2.0 still didn't allow use of the hic cord but I could be wrong. Am I???

Acording to the results I got from a google of "HIC CORD", yes, the 44xx series work with that cord.

Be sure to program a HEADSET STATUS & HEADSET HANGUP Button.

One has to be done in Centralized programming.

I have used "OFF BRAND" Wireless models without using a lifter with great results.

I have used Plantronics devices on these phones and they work great!

Never mind!!! I finally found out from the customer during a phone call that they were actually unplugging the handset and hooking it up like they had a base attached. Sometimes information is a wonderful thing!
