Magix & CID

Looks like a client has a large Magix system. They do not have CID but want it. Are there line cards that I can upgrade them to that will allow CID to appear on their sets?
 
Expansion modules that were introduced with the Merlin Magix are Caller ID capable. Merlin Legend expansion modules need to have the "-ID" designator to be able to handle Caller ID.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.
 
Yep, Dex said it..., tell your customer to order caller ID (if they are copper lines) and you'll have it.

Different story if lines/trunks are on a T1
.. If it's a PRI your good!

Just dont go looking for a scrollable list of "previous calls" on any station. It doesn't exist.

If you need to keep any kind of list/log you'll have to use the SMDR port.
