Magix ability to trace caller & replay call

I have a cop shop that wants to capture caller id info as well as playback the call. I have another a cop shop that has call check thru another vendor throught the handset arrangement, but not really looking at that being the solution.Any other suggestions? Would CTI with screen-pop be an answer?
 
Unlike the Partner ACS, the Merlin Magix processor cannot capture Caller ID info for the purpose of reviewing from a designated system telephone.

SMDR will capture records. You can store the data on a computer or print it out real-time.

I have never used CTI so I can't comment on it.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.
 
We have some police stations that are doing the recording on the lines. They put the recorded on the dialtone before the phone system and do it that way. I am sure they can get the caller ID time of call and the recording and use software to review it.
