Magin isue with my Xerox 8830's

I hope that someone here can help me with my problem. I have two identical Xerox 8830's. I print a lot of D sized drawings and one of my printers does it perfectly while the other one puts about an extra half inch on the bottom of the plan sheet. I've compared every single setting and everything appears to be the same. The only thing I find different is the firmware that is in the 2 machines. The printer doing everything right has v4.2 and the other one has v4.0. Any help will be greatly appreciated as these printers are for my business/job.
